I lost a guard and the ogre in the opening round and never really got back into the drive.

Tristelune really knew how to leverage his sole guard and golems to constantly break open the line, while my own attempts to fight back struggled to find purchase.

Even after a somewhat early score I didn't manage to claw my way back, getting stuck on fleshies, as I so often seem to do.

Own drive in the second half wasn't much better. A failed pickup or two and his fast blodgers swarmed the backfield, with my guards isolated on zombies and fleshies. Got the ball on Lucia in the end, but by then it was too late. Desperation plays were needed to get it upfield and those failed, with RR's long gone.

Lucia went into the crowd and retirement thanks to the niggle and a ghoul scored thanks to a catch in a TZ, to add insult to injury. The same kind of pass I probably should have attempted the previous turn to save Lucia from her fate.

Ah well, lessons learned. New less bloaty elf will probably mean some tackle soon and both the Ogre and the Orc picked up Guard, which fits better with the team anyway. Onwards!”
