“Today two infamous coaches brought their teams to the field. Legendary for their experience with Ogres, and thus of the utmost importance. However the crowd were somewhat dismayed to see them using mundane Humans and filthy Underworld.

The Plebeians had not played for 6 months since their long serving talisman and superstar thrower Jesiah had been killed by Chaos, and their 4th blitzer was retired. Back down to 3 blitzers and with no throwers we were concerned. But the prospect of bashing gobbos was intriguing. That said it was a rather efficient looking opposing lineup. Many heads, leader, no team rr.

Our catcher Zebedee took the ball forward. Perhaps insultingly to our opponent we took the lazy route of rushing up the flank. We moved back central but Alda "The Butcher" kept recklessly hitting the Troll Edison. He was cas'd for his insolence. The Troll then blitzed a cage corner player and tagged Zebedee. We moved players forward to give a great spot for Zebedee to move into for a scoring chance. But Zebedee tripped as he tried to dodge from the impressively effective Troll! A cruel blow, but perhaps deserved from our inadequate moves. Not powing players didn't help, and a skaven thrower took the ball back to our end. Our loner dskulled and our chance of recovering was in tatters. We went down 1-0 at half-time. There were Kos either side though at least Marius cas'd a rat and then our loner redeemed himself by cas'ing the Troll with a gang foul! The ref sent him off.

2nd half we setup 9 v 10. A gobbo soon cas'd the farmer. It looked bad. Butt we were given a steal opportunity! The Woodcutter was able to go full pace around them and blitz down their carrier. A rat recovered the ball but missed his pass forward. Our players then awoke from their jaded slumber and unleashed hell on the vermin. Two goblins cas'd and a rat KO'd in a mere moment! Zebedee couldn't make his pickup but after a goblin dodge failed and was hurt we could take over. Wilhelm got his 2nd cas, and after Zebedee advanced with the ball Marius got his 3rd cas! We didn't quite make the pitch clear but it was a comfortable equalizer. What a turnaround in fortune.

A draw in the end, despite early troubles. We unleashed shock damage late in this match, but the coach insists the match was friendly with no perms caused. "They were just taps!".

This was only the second time ever the Plebeians have caused 6 casualties. The other time was against... Ogres!
