“The undefeated Norse run in Box finally comes to an end in game 27 and with it, the hope for top Norse in BBT3.
But what a game to go out on!
The defensive drive was successful, but didn't inflict any substantial damage. On the human side, that is. Caul was killed and apoed into death when he ran of to be a scoring threat...
And that loss was felt in the offensive drive, when Deep was called to carry the ball while the muscle of the squad vainly tried to bash a hole in the humans defense. The human's armour and defensive line held, though, leaving too many Norse in contact with nowhere to go. And we all know what happens to AV 7 in contact...
The ball was lost with the endzone in sight, the lone human scoring threat was not brought down on the 1d, managed the catch in a tacklezone and that was all she wrote.”
