“The Rotting Gators first match back in 13 seasons is an eventful one.

The first half the Rotting Gators have too much adrenaline, if that is possible for undead, and play too loose on defense. This, combined with several mundane blocks, puts Charlie Mitchell in a poor position. He pays for it with a smashed hip. The Gators finally get a good hit on The Great Gloria (-ST), but a well trained apothecary gets her up in time to cheer Chaga Smash Atogoa's TD. This gives the Lady Trojans a 1-0 lead at the end of the first half.

The second half turns into true Nurgle ball. Donnie Young and the remaining Bloaters form a strong cage and march down the field. In the process, a hit on The Great Gloria forces the need for the use of the Lady Trojan apo once again, but the cut man is nowhere to be found. Gloria dies. As her corpse is carted off the field, she rises up exclaiming, "I ALWAYS wanted to be a Gator, but my mom made me join the Lady Trojans!" Gloria walks over and joins the Florida bench.

The Lady Trojans are able to free the ball a few times late in the second half to force a spectacular finish. A loose ball is picked up by Kori Elfbane Twin, but the presence of the Gator Bloaters causes her to fumble a punt that would surely have finished the game off for the 'Zons. Instead, Kirk Kirkpatrick is able to pick up the fumble and pass it downfield to Fred Taylor. Taylor runs it in to tie the game on turn 16.

The Gators get a tie, a new player, a skill on freshman 'Gor Fred Taylor in his first game, and 4spp by Rotspawn Donnie Young. All in all, it is a good return for the Gators.”
