This was one of the most remarkable matches I have seen in my many years in the game. They say dwarves cab hold a grudge, well this was a grudge match with nobs on.

the kickoff was delayed - allegedly due to crowd congestion. In fact a fight had broken out between the teams in the tunnel and it took 20 minutes for order to be restored.

The game was played in a blizzard from start to finish. That made going for it more risky and meant only little bitty passes could be managed.

The weather played its part straight away blowing the kick off out giving the Critters some easy ball. Creekmoor shifted it wide and his elf made a dash for then line. Then in the First block of the game the grudge burst out like a pregnant boil. Sizzler made a pre-meditated, callous, cunning and cowardly assault on the hapless Royal. One block, one death. The Royals were stunned and whilst they looked on in horror the cynical Critters ran in the TD. Things looked very bad for the Royals
