“Season9 Round12, and another chapter of the Rivalry! (It might be boring to repeat, but both teams are former DLE champions.) Most affairs are bloodthirsty, as these teams respect history, and jump at each other with the highest level of aggression. It was a small miracle, that between 6 fouls, and 4 normal injuries, nobody got permed or dead. Classics kept the CAS count on Pats part at bay by early elimination of both killer blitzers.
The 1st drive was the key. Even though Classics managed to get man advantage, they did a foul while being pressured at the middle of the first half, which was punished by sack. Pats managed to secure the ball in the following turn, and score in turn8.
2nd drive was a Pats quick scoring drive in 3 turns. Get the ball, set the edge, rush up the middle, then rush up at the convenient side. Sounds easy, but a dub skull had to be rerolled...
3rd drive was Classics offense which went nowhere. Pats managed to thwart the score....well...at least make as difficult as Classics could not convert this time. As it was still very possible to score.
