“Despite 5 cas, this match was.. largely bloodless. Our claw and mighty blow could do no harm, except occassionally on random skeletons who regenerated. For the first half, the khemri had the same problem, although they KO'd some key players, but too late to affect the score.
And then those players didn't wake up, twice in a row. 6 or 8 KO rolls. We then burned through our re-rolls in the second half trying to hold onto the 1-0 win, but a bad overextension let them break through on a series of every-die-is-key 1 die blocks.. and they still ended the half without using a single re-roll.
We received in overtime, but the numbers were simply too much, and we couldn't prevent the touchdown in turn 7. (We had 3 or 4 players left on the pitch at that point.) I think we ended with 10 in the KO box.
“It was really an interesting game. The deciding point was in round 2 and 3 of half two: he made really much pressure on my ball carrier when I managed to succeed nearly every single block. In this hard rounds his big big Troll got KO(I think it was just blocked by a skeleton) and he never came back to the game. My inducements worked also very well - Bryce with a Cas and one KO and the wizard with a Cas against the best Gobbo.
