First drive started with Pats eliminating 2 Griffin players, but then Griffins fought back. The drive was contested for some time, but the home team proved to be stronger, and eventually scored in 8th turn.
Griffins tried a 1 turn score setup, but that was foiled by a timely blitz....as if Pats prepared for that...
2nd half saw the Griffins attacking, but their advancement was stopped after an ogre blitz on ogre, and griffins ogre bonehead. Then some scuffle gaffes ensued on both sides, turnovers on both ends. 1st gave easy surf attempt for Emmit Smith, the 2nd Emmit Smith totally botching the surf on the ball, falling on his face. Jenkins got the ball, and raced for the score, most Pats players boxed out of blitz range, except Bortles...
...the all time 10th team CAS player run for the sack, and injured Jenkins! He must be a latent mighty blow player, having done 14 casualties, and numerous KOs in his illustrious career! The CAS result was movement perm, apo was pushed in, tried to KILL him. Luckily for his fans, he is still alive, the Griffins coach wisely declined the apo's suggestion for head amputation.
A few turns later, and the ball is in Reggie Ragland's hands, and score as soon as the time runs out.
On to the Sluggers!”
