Yay! My first victory!

My dodge and stall tactic worked pretty well, and I manage to hold him off for 5 turns before he could score.

After that I tried a oneturner halfling lob that almost killed Volo Oldsocks and gave the Elfsies a chanse to counter. Managed to stop his lion warriors and get the ball back to Volo, now back on his feet, who then ran the distance and scored my first TD!

In the second half I was recieving. I got off at a pretty lousy start, and the Angels again countered, pulling half their team onto my half, when I failed a dodge and left the ball lying where it fell on the kick-off.

I managed a desperate counter blitz and snatched the ball infront of their noses, and scurried off onto the elf side of the pitch, protecting my carrier with as many halflings I could get there.

The highelves seemed to have lost their ghost after one of their Lion Warriors got niggled after failing a dodge, and didn't do much to keep up with the halflings. They just stod there kicking their feet in the mud, muttering to themselves.

The highelf fans were outraged by the second halfling TD and started a Riot that lasted for the remainder of the match.

Barky did his first Cas in his first match, which is promising for the future. :)”
