“The Parrots dominated the first half (5 tigers out, 0 parrots out); however, they allowed a 2gfi 1d on the ball carrier, which took down the ball.. and after that they couldn't recover enough to score.

This did trigger though the reign of the 1d block; the Parrots had a player get 4 1d pows in a row that resulted in a KO; and in general throughout the entire match, the 1d blocks were king for the Parrots.

But the second match, the Tigers tried to catch up with a vengeance, taking out 7 Parrots, leading to a turn 5 touchdown. The Parrots tried to retaliate, but with no re-rolls left they had to risk much, and had no one to cover the ball carrier, and a frenzied tiger brought it down.
