U Pike received the kick, threw some blocks, and attempted to get their players into scoring range, but Miami responded with some blocks of their own and placing the U Pike players in unfavorable positions. One dark elf even died from a failed dodge attempt. Miami was able to wrestle the ball away, and get it securely to the endzone. 1-nil to end the half.

The second half was a series of Miami stall tactics as they fought their way into positing, stalling along the goal line for the touchdown to make it 2-0. Then, in U Pike's Turn 7, they pulled together the most amazing play, as Loner Sean Clumsyfield made four consecutive dodges, three of which ignored Diving Tackle, to 1d POW the ball carrier, robbing Miami of the touchdown. (Four (4) consecutive 6's, five (5) if you count the "POW".) After that U Pike attempted to pass the ball clear, failing the pickup, after GFI and dodging through multiple defenders. Better late than never. For good measure Miami surfed the passing threat before failing the pick up attempt as the game ends 1-nil, Miami.
