“Here the Hellmouths faced a skilled up Goblin Cheaters side. We knew this one was a tough proposition. Especially as despite a decent overall record we have only won 1 of 6 previous matches vs Cheaters. This lot included star Pogoers and a star, move 5 Blodge fanatic, and plenty of secret weapons.

We spent a little cash to get a Bloodweiser Keg. At match time a blizzard hit the field! After a long kick and the initial hits a herder tripped up and was KO'd. Their frenzy Pogoer badly hurt another. This left Monkey the squig isolated and after bloodlust he left the pitch. Then another herder was frenzy cas'd! Our 2nd hopper, Hardest Nutz was stunned by a chainsaw. Their fanatics were knocking our players down at will with great control. What a mess!

Big King meanwhile finally KO'd a Saw player and was moving round to try to save the day. He made his move, easily dodged in and blitzed the carrier. But after reroll he could only push. He dodged away, but was isolated, was then surrounded by 4 gobbos and the frenzy pogoer raced in and struck him hard with the pogo hitting him. ... We had both the apo and potentially a healing scroll ready to repair major hurt.... but it was dead...apo..dead!

A tragedy had struck the freakish 150 SPP player. Gone before his time. A shock of epic proportions to his fans. He had suffered a niggle a few matches ago. In hindsight should have used our sponge as the niggle pushed him over the edge!

No surprise the Cheaters went in for 1-0 at half-time. But not before another squig was foul KO'd, and the rampant frenzy pogoer niggled a herder!

There were some sending offs in the t8 kickoff. Devil Keepa managed to cause a cas. But the remaining two secret weapons still came back for the second half. With one of their kickers badly hurt by a rock it looked good for us to at least equalise. Monkey and Devil caused a cas and a KO respectively. Remarkably a combination of a squig lusty bite and more hard pogoer hitting the numbers still turned against us. In fact Devil Keepa was also struck dead. Hardest Nutz, our other hopper, had the ball. Meanwhile their star fanatic was causing us a world of pain. We lost the ball again to a pogoer, before Devil finally KO'd it, and was bombed, and then at last a herder retrieved the ball for the equaliser. Few remained on the field.

There was a little time left with 8 of us kicking to 4 of them. But after some final antics neither side could finish off with a win.
