Well, I think we skated by on some lucky juju in this one. I don't think we played badly necessarily, but it really seemed like everything was going our way this go around. We came with a standard plan to mark the big ones with our lineman, then try to pick off the little guys with Sbghat, and it looked like everything was going pretty well to plan right up until those little runts starting dipping and diving through our line. It looked like we were in trouble about mid-way through the 1st half, one of their little guys taking off towards the endzone after turning us over, but all of a sudden everything just started working out for us. Not sure why, but I'm not gonna complain. Little guy takes a tumble, their bigs struggled to make solid blocks, it was just a mess. After we got the ball back Vothug came into his own and made a dash for a score, managing to fend off tackles on his way in. Sbghat eventually did start doing some damage, but it took longer than I would've hoped. He had quite a few good shots at the little guys too. MVP of the match was probably the lineman. They did a terrific job keeping there guys tied up, and it enabled us to fly around with the blitzers. You could really tell Texas is a well coached team, they were making all the right moves, but things just weren't in their favor this go around.

We lock up our 5th win with that victory, and now look to take on a Mizzou team that I honestly think we look better than on paper. It'd be nice to wrap up the regular season with 6 wins. ”
