“After a couple of games where the Spitehawks seemed incapable of doing anything right, their rematch against the Bombardiers turned out to be Nuffle's revenge. Vas Matzat was awarded MVP although it's unclear whether that was for a touchdown or for fouling two different elves into the injury box.

Early luck in the first half meant the Spitehawks lost the ball, constantly handing it to Krits Tabakskittar instead of the waiting gutter runners, but somehow they squeaked out a T7 score. That left the Bombardiers with two turns to run it in, and the usual elfball sneak up the sideline almost paid off, but more resilient rats than usual meant Dirty Pig tripped on the endzone instead.

In the second half, Rustic Appeal, back from tripping over his shoelace in the first half, scored early, but by then the Spitehawks were winning the numbers game, scoring as quck as they could before holding off the remaining elves for the win.

Fun fact: Rass Ckk is the only gutter runner on the team who has refused to foul anyone. The rest of those horrors just keep on stabbing and booting...”
