“The Murder Maidens received and Michonne secured the ball with a light screen. The Ogre Nagini smashed through the screen and sprinted as fast as an Ogre can to mark Michonne. Despite her dodging skills, she could not escape Naginis giant arms! Cho Chang quickly swept up the ball and proceeded with half the team. The Maidens used their temporary witch to "Zap" Cho, but he got up, picked up the ball and kept going. What a champ! The Murder Maidens took the chance to try and murder the players left behind, and while not killing anyone they did remove 2 players. They then sent a few ladies after the ball so Cho Chang ran the ball in on turn 6. 0-1.

The Amazon's, desperate to level the score, pushed down the left flank. As Michonne failed to run the ball to Furiosa, Griffindoom closed in and held the Maidens in place, and threw the ball into the Maidens back half. In a miraculous play, Mary Embrey managed to break free of the Griffindoom defence and stand in the end zone. One of the other ladies picked it up, sprinted and handed it to Sarah Connor, who threw the LONGEST PASS POSSIBLE to Mary Embrey, who caught it and scored. 1-1.

Half Time.

The Maidens and Griffindoom engage in a tense arm wrestle, with Cho Chang edging the ball closer to the end zone. Eventually Sarah Connor spots a risky but potentially rewarding attack on the ball. She manages to knock both Cho Chang and the ball out. The crowd throw the ball into open space and the Maidens manage to secure the ball! Getting revenge for Mary Embreys miracle touchdown, Hannah Abbott seriously injures her (thankfully she recieved medical treatment after the match!). Griffindoom gives chase but it seems the Maidens will score. In a blunder of judgement and lack of teamwork, the Maidens drop the ball close to Griffindoom instead of running downfield together. Griffindoom had no time to score but swept in and pressured the ball. The Maidens tried to recover the ball but there was no second miracle today.

The game ends 1-1.

Side note: The ref seemed to incorrectly issue the Maidens MVP; Æon Flux was given it for her pass, but it was Sarah Connor who made the miracle pass!”
