“Down a troll, the Scoundrels were lacking muscle going into this game, and then an uncanny inability to do any damage to AV7 ladies meant there were no casualties for the first half - even with the chainsaw revving and Irene flinging bombs. Ref was reprehensible, sending Pinkeye off in his first turn, and he hardly did anything...
Second half left Geoff getting badly hurt after those less than lovely ladies first fouled him and then hit him, and by the end we didn't have the reach to get a equaliser for 2-2, so Manshape killed somebody (turned by the apo into a merely broken necked linewoman) and we finished with a foul.
Back to proper service next week when we should have Uncleshape Sketchyhands backing up the big guy...”

A vigilant ref sent off Irene and Avo Smash the chainsaw (and the "Dirty" Pinkeye earlier), and a trusty keg of Bloodweiser meant two extra Maidens woke up for an 11 v 7. Outnumbered and under strength, the goblins KOed another Maiden but could not stop a fairly easy score by the Maidens. 1-1.
There was still some goodness in the keg, meaning all the Maidens were ready for the second half and 11 v 8 on the pitch. The kick was VERY deep and Michonne had to sprint to get the ball off the touchdown line in fear of an assault by a yeeted Geoff From Above. The Maidens encircled the Scoundrels and tried to keep the Goblins away from Manshape the Troll, but the Dodgy buggers were able to help the poor dope. The pogo hopped toward the ball but Michonne wasn't having it and KOed him. The Maidens were able to badly hurt Geoff Form Above to greatly diminish the Scoundrels ability to draw. Dissapponting Suction Dyson tried to be a hero but was too small to knock Michonne over. Out of respect the Maidens went against their instinct to try and remove Manshape, and Michonne scored on turn 8. 2-1.
A deep kick meant there was not enough time to score. Manshape, considering the Maidens not hitting him as a sign of disrespect, almost killed Beatrix Kiddo, but luckily the apothecaries aid meant she "only" has a broken neck. The Scoundrels, having far less honour than the Maidens, went for a spiteful foul on Mockingjay, seriously injuring her. 2-1.
MVP went to Mary Embrey Mk III because she made it through a whole game without suffering a serious injury!”
