With six elves left for the second half after a lot of fouling and shoving, the game should have been sewn up, but sloppy defending, forgetting that the rain meant a 2+ pick up with a reroll wasn't, and a bit of elfish luck, put the 'Brutes down to 2-1 in a couple of turns.

In return, we took all but one elf off the pitch, which was enough to equalise but not to win. Still, after a run of losses, that was much better than nothing, and it's our first draw against mrt1212 ever, I think.

Steeplejack killed himself tripping over his shoelaces rather than join the team. Quite rude, frankly. We'll make an effigy in his honour to replace Jake.
