“A bit of a grudge match after the Dragons thumped the Reagents last season to win the Division 1 title, this time the boot was on the other foot as a depleted Dragons team missing 3 players due to injury took on a fairly full and fit Reagents roster.
And it looked to be a long evening for the Dragons as the Reagents took a 2-0 lead into the sheds and with Glenn Brookvald in the box with a bad injury.
Down players and down on the scoreboard, the Reagents started with a blitz, but over read the situation and whilst chasing the ball carrier, allowed the backfield to open up and Blax Landric caught a long pass to scoot away to pull one back.
With the ball in hand, and having the numbers on the Dragons, the Reagents should have easily scored their 3rd TD, but the tenancious Dragons smashed into the Reagents and the casualties started to pile up. Soon enough, the numbers swung in the Dragons favour and again, the Dragons stole the ball and Landric again scooted away for the tieing score. A magical comeback the result.
Still the Reagents had the chance to pull the winning TD out, but a fumbled kick reception and the stunning hit on the only player in range of the Dragons end zone saw the match fizzle out from a Reagents perspective and a tie result.
This was one that got away from the Reagents, and the Dragons can consider the extra league point as a bonus. The Reagents again are left fuming at the ferociousness of Dragons hitting that basically turned a one-sided match into an even contest.
Next week, the championship is decided with the Dragons to take on the Chaingang and the Reagents to battle with the Mammallians. ”

In trying to catch an interview later, one spotted a Lion Warrior training harder than ever, bench pressing a load that a Black Orc would be proud of.
