“Chorfs... a terrifying match up for the Sports Injury Boys. The manager, drunk at the time, decided to let the chorfs have the ball first. The dwarven grind made its way down the pitch, but the Injury boys picked off the stragglers, weakening the evil stunties.

After the inevitable TD a plan was hatched to hit the weaker bottom side... the usual perfect defence soon put paid to that. Golf ran himself up the pitch with the ball but kept having his feet swept from him by a growing crowd of dwarves and a Bull Centaur. His last attempt to get in amongst 3 dwarves and pick the ball up ended with the ball bouncing out of the scrum where the dwarves inexplicably ignored it, choosing to beat poor golf up. Cometh the hour, cometh the rat (as they don't say, anywhere) and Shin Splints Jnr ran in a TD after a 1TZ pick up and 2GFI, usually a guaranteed trip to the vet for these boys.

Second half the Injury boys received and ran a side line TD in in 2 turns, down to 6 slightly worn out guys by now it felt the safest option.

Knowing the team was too weak to stop the grind again they chose to pick off stragglers again. Patello chose this moment to not bother regenerating and got a broken leg, putting paid to any hopes of a late touch down.

2-2 by now the guys had one last go at getting another TD, ACL tear decided to face plant while getting into position. Some late casualties just to help train the chorfs up and we ended 2-2.

A great and fun game that will take the vet weeks to patch the team up from. Biggest win: Fractured tooth learnt to run even faster, another skill and we may have our natural 1 turn scorer. ”
