“Another day, another big bashy match.

Won the coin toss, received, spent a few happy turns smashing hobgoblins to paste and then figured I should try to run in the score, but sloppy defending (neither of us had many players left) put Beef Roast in danger, and he got stunned on the touchline, while the ball bounced away to a waiting hobgoblin to run for it.

Thankfully I recovered the ball with a dodge, a good hard thump and then some AG4 shenanigans to get the ball back to Beef Roast for an 8th turn score.

Second half, I was expecting the hammer to fall in the other direction, but with the hobgoblins failing to pick up the ball, Beef Roast ran in behind them, passed the ball back to Sausages (who fluffed a 2+ catch), but after that, with the chorfs missing a Bull Centaur after a first half foul, they didn't have the speed and we could park down by the end zone and safely stall.

Not that I like stalling, but with all those hard hitting players still on the pitch, I figured discretion was the better part of valour. Thanks for the match - no harm done to anyone (except for hobgoblins, of course...)”
