“Notable for another bad performance from Brash, although to be fair to the lad, he didn't perform much worse than the rest of the Manglerz. Eventually picking up the ball in turn 3 on his own line when he finally remembered what he was supposed to be doing the Manglerz made a valiant effort of trying to get down the field. Unfortunately by this point the line was a fractured mess and Trollo the Troll, bought in especially for this game to add some much needed muscle, was lying on the floor with Flashyboxer boots being applied in abundance. The eventual desperate rush for the line was easily countered and the Manglerz were left hoping their hired wizard could steal them the ball back in the second half.

Second half and the luck changed. The Manglerz caught the ball in the Flashyboxer's half and started to make progress. Some bad positional play meant they very quickly stopped making progress and started getting beaten up instead. A custard pie was seen and taken full in the face. Someone got chop blocked. It was chaos. Brash made a brash decision to lob the ball into the corner, put some pressure on and hope for a win or force the draw. Unfortunately (but unsurprisingly for him this season) it bounced unerringly towards the crowd who were feeling malicious and lobbed it straight to the feet of Phil McAvity, the Flashyboxers star beastman. He picked it up, handed it off to a team mate who scampered off down field with no chance of being caught whilst the Manglerz lay mangled by Flashyboxer fists.
