In the first half I was happy to just muck about with secret weapons and hurt people, but forgot to score, and was a turn too late in hurling somebody down the field. The fanatic died on a GFI (thanks, blizzard!) but in return Bogrip fouled a tree to death, thematically correct for a goblin holding a woodchipper. He got banned but I argued the call, perfect result as it meant he was around for the second half, where he acquired his first ever SPP from casualties when a treeman Both Downed and got injured. I think that's the only way a goblin can ever do that, so well done, Bogrip!

I rushed my score - could easily have stalled when we were down to 1 Sprite on the pitch and most of the trees rooted - but that felt boring and I was guessing a dirty trick would punish me. That left just enough time for the treemen to throw an equalizer, and a failed landing (so close!) put paid to my 2-1 ambitions.
