“The teams took the field on a crisp autumnal Michigan afternoon, with the stadium packed by UTEP fans drawn by the promise of free beer. Unfortunately, the whole first half was a punching match, which Texas took the harder side. Regardless of the number of times Levi Carlson attempted to take Savannah Ayat out of the game, he just couldn't get it done. The result: by the end of the first half, UTEP was out of reserves and rocked back on it's heels.

As the fans have come to expect, Levi got the momentum started in the second half, removing the Michigan team captain from the field at the very beginning of the second half. The momentum was all but lost when UTEP Guard Wyatt "Bull Dog" Simmons also left the field moments later. Better balance was achieved with Michigan's Kaiden Iwell also leaving the pitch right behind Wyatt. Nurgle bless him, Levi kept beating away at the monster Savannah, without much luck... only stunning the behemoth. Sadly Reiko Satsuma was then dragged off the pitch unconscious, still not accustomed to his new role with UTEP. Ian Hardfire foolishly approached Levi's best friend, the UTEP quarterback Andrew "Twinkle Toes" Hasford, and was badly hurt for his daring. It was at about this time that Michigan started regrouping, preparing for a final defense rather than continue their frontal attacks against Texas. Allowed this small amount of space, Angel managed to send Archer Nismen off on a stretcher. In the final minutes of the second half, Michigan set up a familiar elf defense, a configuration with which UTEP has grown uncomfortably familiar. While Dawson Direst attempted one catastrophic final assault to distract ol'Twinkle Toes, Texas surged forward. UTEP was then forced to carve a hole thru the center of the Michigan defense, allowing Andrew to score the game tying touchdown.”
