These teams dont meet often, only in Superbowl (has not happened yet), or in every 4th regular season. I guess these guys wanted to show how it is supposed to be done, i mean proper hitting, and provide a lasting impression. This may last for 4 seasons!
Blake Bortles back has been damaged, and Corey Davis was killed, just to name a few. The CAS boxes were chock full. Injury followed injury, and the players wanted to avenge them....and managed to do so a number of times. Corey's blood may satisfactory revenge for the hit on Bortles for now...
Neither drive has been text book, but ended up in a 2-1 grindy pattern. Sack attempts happened, and Pats prevailed. Picked the ball up again and secured after the ominous Bortles hit, and scored at turn8. Could not stop the Knights score after a failed GFI. Finally, knights could not stop the winner, when Fast Eddie (yes, it was him) screened off the angle of attack.
The youth movement did admirably, lead by Lincoln Celthric (2 TDs), while Chase Temil gained some mental reps. (The actual reps went to his counterpart, Matteo Ulysses, but he did not show any sign of better understanding of the blocking scheme yet.)
On to the Classics, with a capable, but work in progress team! If that game is a win, that is both a huge achievement and inside track against Classics. A tie would leave the division open.”
