Florida opened the first half with ball and saw Navy settle in to a prevent style defense. Navy only threw 5 blocks on its first three turns, but caused 3 casualties and two KO's. The result was a Florida turnover. Surprisingly, Navy's Matthew Pritchett IX picked up the ball and trundled down field. A few unsuccessful GFIs by Florida and a dodge by Pritchett saw the Tomb Guardian waddle in for a TD.
The second half was a reverse of fortunes. A blitz on the kickoff, KO's all over by the Gators with a few casualties and the pitch was tilted. Unfortunately for Pritchett, his TD meant he was marked by Florida for revenge. While some say it there wasn't enough gore, the execution shredded the mummy into barely usable toilet paper.
Instead of risking a loss, Florida played it safe and scored at the end to make the match a draw.
