“The teams took the field on a beautiful, crisp Sunday evening. Fans filling the stands adequately. Willow Rosebark and Karla von Kill in for the missing Angel, Lola. UTEP won the toss and remembering how dangerous the Bleeding Angels were, elected to hit them first while receiving the ball. In the opening moments of the game, Levi Carlson smashed into Karla von Kill... claws shredding armor and smashing her collar bone, taking her out of the game early. Berea, however, responded by removing Godried Ozmund, Aiden Rogers, and Cal Norton from the field. Willow Rosebark, however, was wounded just as Ethan Smythe blew it for UTEP, completely destroying the drive as the big guy drop to the pitch. Berea capitalized on the blunder, and soon had the ball free. Still caught in a haze of alcohol fumes, Priscilla managed to catch a bouncing ball (8+). Leo 'Lionhart' Erickson, wasn't having any of that, and leapt bodily upon Kravitz, crushing the life from her body. Levi took down Priscilla in a flurry of horns and claws, but the ball bounced right into the arms of a waiting Luzy Lu (9+ catch). Luzy escaped and dashed down the field requiring Levi to sprint right after her. He brought her down with a flying tackle, knocking the wind from her completely and removing her from the pitch. In a second completely inept moment, Ethan Smythe freezes... demonstrating once again why he has picked up the nickname of 'Booger'. The Berea defense attempts to rally for a last desperate attempt to score during the UTEP offensive, but Kink is so deep in the UTEP alcohol fumes that she bungles the hand-off (7+). The first half ends score-less, but both teams fielding a full eleven players.

As the second half begins, a rumor that the beer concession is running low on cups results in a fans and officials running around, but resulting in the clock advancing before either team takes notice. The Angels start smashing the UTEP front line composed of former elves and a Reiko, the former saurus blocker while setting up a dash down the sidelines. The primary party animals array themselves at the sideline, allowing the alcohol fumes from weeks of parties to waft over the offensive line, as the more mobile players move towards their own goal to defend. Levi, however, takes the opportunity to smack Lulu, the beast of an Angel, taking her off the pitch. Angel Martinez however, moves to prevent Levi from getting hit... unfortunately Martinez is taken off the field moments later. In the last moments of Berea's control of the ball, Easter scoops it up and wings it down field into the waiting arms of Patience, who is just at the edge of the alcohol fumes. She then attempts to hand-off to Priscilla who never even sees Patience's approach thru the haze and Patience is left holding the ball, literally. Leo clears a path, and Patience is leveled by Levi Carlson as the UTEP defense attempts to surround the ball. As they attempt to clear a path to the ball however, KiKi misses a block against Tripp Bender and takes herself down.

At that point, the Berea offense falls apart. Lana is the last ball defender, and is taken off the field by Levi. 'Booger' for the first time all game, does something critically right, holding onto Kink as she attempt to reposition for a shot against the new ball carrier, Andrew Hosford. The cheering which erupts confuses the freshman player, and he stands around wondering what they want not instead of paying attention to the game. Lula, who had spent the half dancing with Reiko and Luke North, breaks away and single-handedly brings Andrew down, freeing the ball yet again. Larissa is then carted off the field on a backboard, and Kalim is carted off with a concussion. Andrew flows over to the ball and snatches it up from under the watchful eye of Kink, floating away... just as the team had practices, demonstrating once again how he'd picked up the nickname 'Twinkle Toes.' The Angels were not planning to go down easy though as Patience rushed Andrew setting up blitz from Kink, who chose that moment to trip over Leo Erickson's boots. This was just the opportunity Andrew needed to dash to the endzone for the only score of the evening.

All that was left to do was break out the beer to celebrate.”
