“The Manglerz seemed to carry on from where they left off last week against the halflings, mangling things with abandon (humans apparently, though that wasn't really apparent from what was left of them after the match). Unfortunately they failed to remember that there was an actual game underlying the violence and they lost that pretty badly. Coach SW really needs to reign the Manglerz in and go back to the basic task of actually moving the ball forward and getting it into the endzone if he wants to have any success.

The first drive belonged to the Average, who were quickly chased into the endzone by the Manglerz. The only notable incident being the wet stain in the centre of the pitch which was all that remained of an Average lineman after he'd been stomped to death by Loser's new fouling boots. 1-0 Average.

The Manglerz were then quickly chased into the endzone by the Average, only unfortunately it was the Manglerz endzone following some disastrous LOS blocking which allowed what looked like the entire Average team to pour through the Manglerz line. Numerous little fights broke out all over the field as the Manglerz scrambled to recover and save themselves from going two down. 1-0 Average it remained.

The second half started well enough, Average linemen were being consistently removed from the game, the ball just wasn't going forward. Even with acres of open field and a huge numbers advantage. Eventually realising the danger Morbash ran forward and like the previous Manglerz ball-carrier before him did so often... tripped. No-one else was in range to recover.

The Manglerz have been sent on a time management course.

One game left to salvage some pride by doing what no-one else this season has done and taking some points off the IoMT's only undefeated team...
