“First half, a lucky interception by Gravel Hill prevented an early score by the Slavs, but slow moving traffic meant the orcs never got within scoring distance; we'd already removed a few players in that half though, so the hope was we'd grind in the win in the second half.
Overzealously stalling meant the Revenue Protection Officer eventually got sacked, failing to score despite holding the ball for six turns. He really must get more of a sense of urgency. With two turns left and no rerolls, I was regretting holding on so long, but Gravel Hill showed he could pick the ball off the ground just as well as pluck it from the air, and ran in the score for the win.
A restive crowd decided to fling rocks at both teams (deservedly so) but again, the humans took the brunt of it, the orcs only stunned while another human was borne to the injury box. A final pass put the Slavs within 3 squares of a score, but without an MA9 sprint catcher, the Trams were pretty safe.
Thanks for the match!”
