#6 Kilgok – Smashed Ankle (-MA)
With the Giantz as per usual trying to adopt the passing game they looked good from the kick off or so they thought. But this freak show known as the Carnival of Chaos weaved their magic straight away. A HG bedazzled poor Ultheg and then Super Star Verrucius attempted his thing. Dodging through and maxing his run (dam those little nurglings having guard!) but oh, poor him failed the last gfi for an almost certain sacking. I try to learn to not allow people to get a blitz off on my ball carrier but sometimes my calculations go astray! Or when you play a circus like this lot I havent a clue whos who despite marking them! I'm sure I spent hours scouting the roster of this team but at the start Id clearly failed to defend against these little dodgey guarders nor the Super Star! I'd identified them as block dice cas but they were being well deployed and tucked away safely popping out like so to assist. Anyhow I got lucky there! And a cheeky foul from Baal Lobba on the super star could have been a game changer and also prevent another sacking attempt in only turn 2, this cage isnt a very tight one thats for sure, but the foul fails...booooo. But what a stroke of luck when Super Star goes to dodge out and bang, KO. these indirect defensive tactics appear to be working allowing them to think they can take the ball off me! The numbers were going my way 3 of his off, despite allowing another 2 attempts at sacking my ball carrier.....unlucky totally on these sacking attempts for jdm. 2 more sacking attempts (what the hells wrong with this cage!) and finally justice for jdm knocking the ball carrier down after 5 attempts. And then the turn of the Stench! Foul Appearance reared its head and prevented a few blocks going in, did seem quite effective this game, but the Orcs recovered the ball surviving a scrum at the endzone before a nice chain push pow freed up the Orc Lino to crawl over the line after a punch up of a first half! A badly hurt captain Umrek was the only downside (apart from totally lacking tactics regarding protecting the ball carrier!) of this half but healed by the wandering apoth (is that the wizard in disguise?)...please dont let that come back to haunt me. Do like a spare apoth so my team gains the spp rather than stars hogging them and also now the team has some actual skillz (and by that I only mean the actual 6spp skills :) ) What a mess that was at getting the TD, if the ball had bounced unkindly Im sure the TD wouldnt have happaned. A small chance to get straight back in it after the riot but the leap didnt work.

The 2nd half felt very similar to the first. A mass brwal, jdm racking up the numerical advantage, the bomber man KOing one early on... but certainly not offering the opponent the ball sacking as much as I did it its noted :) Then tradgedy, the BOB smashed to the ground (-1MA) so teh 2nd apoth used (I dont like 5 more turns without one!) although failed the useless son of a medic. Jdms ball protection was much better and took his time for the TD sensing his chance to throw more punches as the numbers were going in his favour. 1 rerolled 1d blitz is the only sacking attmpet I could muster and it failed witha skull stun! And obviouosly the 2nd half doesnt get wrritten up as much as you were attacking :) and tbf there was so much more to write about your 6 ball carrier attempted sackings! Defo something to work on in training greenskins.

A good draining match, a defensive one rather than offensive flair. Enjoyed the match and the chat with the dirty Haunted Hills coach. :) Regards Bakadon
