“In this match against the Nuln Gryphons, a dangerous human team, The Marvels choosed to kick first. After a hard begining, where Opale was presumed dead before the medical staff did wonders, the Marvels showed again their defensive skill by sacking the opposing carrier twice. Howewer, they were unable to take back the ball in the rain and human thrower Steven Ghoul had an opprtunity to pass and score at the last moment, but failed. Not all players are elves ! During that half, Dr Doom killed a veteran human blitzer, and the Marvels could start second half 10 against 9.
In second half, action start immediately with a blitz from Thanos removing the Gryphons Ogre right after the kick-off. After that the humans where in bad shape and missed tons of block, and despite being able to made Quicksilver dump-off the ball at some point, they couldn't stop Thanos from scoring.

Fun fact, Cory Vilefist, a journeyman, was the MVp of that game after showing his block skill but the Marvel couldn't make him sign a contract after the game.
