It was advertised as the first ever grudge matchup of DLE, dating back to Season1 Game1.
No love was lost. Both teams were ready to do some damage, avenge some past insults and injuries that the players (at least the current cast) may not even remember. They hear rumblings of fans, coaches alike. Even the waterboy has some inspirational nugget.
Patriots are mostly efficient with blitzing, Bolts mainly with fouling. At least what the player removal is concerned.
First drive was for Bolts, which ended up with a quick score after most players got tied up, and Messi scored before Johnson could get him.
Patriots got the 2nd and 3rd drive, and they all ended with a perfect stall.
At the end of the game, Messi was instructed to do the 1 turn equalizer, but he went for a foul instead.
In spite of all those hits, this was one of he least injury ridden game in the history between these teams.”
