Unfortunately for the Blitz, sometimes people stick to their resolutions - although it's sensible for Skaven to opt to kick, we were playing with loaded dice. West Leederville smashed a rat to pieces with two thirds of his blocks, the apo was gone early saving a rat from death, and between the crowd removing the Blitz' fourth man, and High Stakes being too smart to recover from his early KO, we enjoyed a surprising numerical advantage for the second half. It only got worse when we killed Steven, and smashed Scott's ankle for the third time.

Then a slow march to the end. As my usual technique is to make some bloody stupid mistake and lose a sure thing, I did nothing until turn 7, and then scored. A crueller (and wiser) man would have stalled until turn 8 and then deprived the rats of even getting to 58 turns played, but I had a fear I'd forget what number was what, and throw the game away with a poor overtime.
