“A fairly even game which could have gone either way. First half the UW received and moved up the pitch switching to either side but a well planned Skaven move gave a blitzer a Dodge GFI blitz on Skitter with the ball. The ball went loose and the gutters picked up. UW were only saved by the wizard and some solid ball handling to score. The Skaven one turner was ruined by a gutter double 1's a pick up.

Second half Skaven received and UW tried to screen off but a failed block led to an opening with the Skaven running down one side of the pitch and caging. UW tried to screen it off but the gutter found a way out and switched to the other side of the pitch but a superfluous GFI spilt the ball into the end zone. The UW tried to get back but a failed GFI foul attempt on the prone gutter allowed the gutter to run in and pick up but now meant UW had time to score back.

Skaven managed a solid defence and on the last turn tried some risky moves which resulted in a 2d on the ball which luckily for me failed and then Skitter managed to dodge out for the win.

A fun game played well. not much blood either side, we did have our blitzer surfed and niggled but oh well.
