Scimitars are at playoff spot, so this was not going to be easy. They have a very competent team lead by their superstar blitzer: Harry McBain. He was the bane of many other teams in the past....cheap pun i know, i know...

This game did not go THAT well. Sure, win is a win is a win, but the overall team effort was below expectation. Sloppy and lazy blocking all the way.

The highlight of the effort was the foul on opposing ogre. Joe Mays did the only CAS for pats. All other players drew a blank in this department, which is totally unacceptable. Good to have the old one! I have to go back 2 seasons to find another game with only 1 CAS done by patriots blockers and blitzers!

Fortunately the balling section bailed the team out with good positioning, adept running, and tackling with their eyes. (I can describe otherwise when they made the opponents fail easy-ish dodge attempts.)

We have been pushed around, we have been fouled, outcas-ed, but stil won. A tie would have been a fair result, and perfectly acceptable, but this is even better.

On to the eagles, another playoff team, actually another 1st round playoff bye team, 2nd seed in KFC.”
