“Count Sword was caught trying to suck Lord Richter's daughter dry in Altdorf. This unfortunate turn of events forced him to miss the game while the team coach paid the ransom for his release.

When the fans discovered him missing they promptly invaded the pitch hurting two elves, one badly.

Then the Counts tried a daring play that turned on them (read the coach screwed up badly). This probably cost them the game since the elves could stay one ahead all the time.
