I always struggle against Orcs but this game was even more of a struggle. The Orc blitz at the start of the game utterly ruined my offensive drive as we lost initiative and Bo just refused to pick the ball up twice and was then KO'd for the rest of the game, useless. We attempted to salvage something with the combined mv and catch on the knights which would have let us run away into the orc half but yea Bo... grr.
We then just got shafted on blocks and lost players and the Orcs picked up and effectively screened and scored and our KO's didnt want to face them again! The ref also let the saw stay in.
Second half we tried a play to tie up the thrower in the backfield but we didnt get the screener down meaning the orcs then caged up and grinded up the field for the win while our guys left the pitch.
Overall we just seemed to fail loads and do little and then as the game went on we had to try more desperate plays which obviously increased the difficulty but when we are rolling a quarter 1's and skulls it just wasn't our day at all.
The dice stats are super interesting just for the trend to awful for me but I definitely want some feedback if you can watch the replay. What should I have done instead? it felt like it was utterly hopeless from the first turn and with us failing lots we needed an orc failure somewhere and it just wasn't for happening.
Opponent was a gent and good company as always. GG!”
