“Here we faced opposing Orcs for the first time, hell bent on stopping our delivery duties. A Block Troll and a few Guards in their lineup which were bound to cause trouble.

Big Bag Packer cas'd a lino early. We spread our line quite wide, which was probably an error against an opposing tough wall. Our carrier "No Burdens" dodged from trouble and shifted sides behind our line. But the Troll in front of him double skulled and was bashed back down by an Orc. He was then blitzed and badly hurt, with our apo patching him up. Our thrower picked up again but was swamped and easily knocked down. A Black Orc was KO'd too and we were in disarray! We fought on but once they took the ball from us we had no way to get back and stop the stalling TD. A good half for the Green Pukes.

Second half we put our pressure back on them. They had a narrower formation near the middle but were exposed when one of their blitzers was foiled (when rerolling a push into skulls)! Then we could get Black Orcs onto their carrier. Their Troll used a rr (loner worked this time) but then their desperate carrier fell when trying to escape. No Burdens was then able to snatch up the ball and get forward! Their Troll was given their blitzing chance and of course messed it up. No Burdens was blitzed free and got the equalizer!

There was still moments for their Troll to try to throw their gobbo forward for another TD attempt. The Gobbo was given the ball but was just dropped back down twice. We promptly blitzed and KO'd the cheeky gobbo, leading to the final whistle.
A challenging but enjoyable draw. We go on to the next job.”
