Chapter 6 Zodiac Killing
"This is it Fox" Harold said "I can feel it, our first win since?"
He paused and stared intently at the bagel he was chewing on.
"Yeh". Said Fox "I cant remember the last win when was it? How long have we been floating around these deserted Isles?" Yet again the Blackwater Bugel was running an article on best and worse of the league and Rhett Mareena was mentioned as the best Human thrower operating at the moment meaning Fox was the worst.
The Capricorns were clearly the favourites for the game but the Madheads had a solid week in training and felt the Capricorns would have the pressure on them.
The game kicked of with a hiss and a roar Brisket quickly maiming a hapless Human. With the pressure Rhett fumbled the ball in the back field and the Mad heads put the heat on them. They quickly though snuck through the line to take the first touchdown and the lead.
"Right Fox show them what you have got" Shouted Douglas Puddingstone ever the positive from his seemingly permanent position riding the bench.
Fox did he pounced on the ball deftly picking up the ball and charging forward. Travis Hotwing charged down the line and evaded a number of hits to remain open.
Don't stuff this up Fox internalised. He Spun a huge pass out landing in Hotwings hands who crossed the line. 1-1.
With the Madheads hitting hard it looked like they were on for an upset.
The Capricorns though still had a sting in their tail and turned up the heat. Star Catcher Jonah Algween showed why he is considered one of the hottest properties in Dibbl with a touchdown both sides of the half to sandwhich the win for the Capricorns.
