Most matches against Wreckage are close. This one one of those, even though Thunder dominated in the 1st half with early take outs. Thunder players really wanted to win this. Damage control worked for Pats, and stayed in the game though the 2nd half, and a missed 1 turn attempt by Austin prompted overtime. Thunder won the coin toss, and Austin corrected his previous mistake and scored for the win.
Joe Mays dies in turn1 during the big Thunderstrike. Apothecary was stopped rushing into the field, even though coach knew Joe may die. He was simply unlikely to help beyond this match, even if apothecary patches him, there was a chance he would not play in this game, nor in the next one.
