“Ogres down 200 in TV. First match without our old legend snot Lucan. Never gonna be easy. But what a game. We brought in 5 riotous rookies for the bench.
Kendo carried the ball early but it wasn't long before a Norse catcher was able to get a blitz in and superbly dauntless blitz him down. The apo was even needed to patch the Ogre up. A journeysnot picked up, was taken down, and then managed to recover it again. When the Norse opened a gap it seemed as he went forward we would somehow come out of this with a TD. Munter also cas'd a catcher. But a Norseman managed just to dodge around and blitz the snot down! But we upped the power, including a cas by Giant Haystacks, while Big Daddy picked up and got the crucial TD before half-time!

Second half the Norse had a few in our half past our line. We thought we had them cut off. But despite the start of a downpour they pulled off a surprise pass and scored!

With Kendo on the ball at 1-1 in the second half things looked quite good as he moved into the opposition half. But a snotling trip up blew his cover. The claw wielding Troll was left to crash into him. So close to getting the lead but instead Kendo lay stunned. Not only that but they pulled off another rain pass! Then Big Daddy did more great work to break tackle and further dodge his way to then smash the carrier down. But another Norsemen picked up the wet ball and they pulled off another pass. Today the Norse had three successful passes IN THE RAIN! Wow. Then a last gasp saving ogre blitz from Munter failed. Defeat clutched from victory. Our 100th defeat, but we deserved better. But an epic match and great Norse ball skills. Big Daddy put in a brilliant effort with a TD and 2 cas.
