“My heaviest defeat in 25 years of bb. And in a Major too. The shame. Been having problems with my new mouse since I got it but I think I surpassed even my own high standards today. My opponent refused to cooperate by playing badly or by rolling more than his fair share of 1s and I dare say the dice were a little unkind at times too. All in all a bit of a debacle. Well played to the Duke, he played beautifully and while I think he was always a big favourite here I wish I'd made it a bit harder for him. ”
There was a couple of key misclicks, but the telling story was in the dice. Whilst my dice were average, my opponent couldn't stop rolling 1's and 2's, resulting in turnovers for dodges, pickups and GFI's (4 of 9 GFI's failed). Added to which his first 3 fouls were all spotted by the referee.
I scored early and, with a Secret Player heavy team like the Snotlings, once the game gets away from you, you will always struggle.
