“Every time I think my luck at Fumbbl can't get worse, it does.
Christian played a solid game and stopped my two attempts at scoring in their tracks all the while playing a mean offense. And yet those dice, those damned dice...
60+ blocks thrown during the game and none of them resulted in a casualty. The only one caused was when one of his skaven ran headlong into one of the Black Orcs. Throwers wouldn't pick up the ball, Black Orcs decided the KO box was a nice place to rest, and Blitzers, well, they didn't really want to hurt anyone. Perhaps they were, once again, playing drunk and feeling nothing but brotherly love toward their skaven opponents. I need to curb their drinking.
20k winnings and FF went down. I can't blame them. If I was a fan I'd demand my money back too.
I'd gladly play Christian again. I just hope my luck improves...someday.”
“I can't add too much to Paradisio's description, although I do appreciate his compliments.
Paradisio did not have much to work with - I've never seen someone (besides me, of course) roll so many push and double-pushbacks. This, of course, makes it harder to score, especially when I rolled decently enough on most of my dodges to plug up his movement turn after turn. The fact that the Blizzard lasted all game, even through the opening kickoff weather change, did not help him much.
Paradisio was a good opponent, and I would play him again anytime - he is a solid coach and a friendly player.
Ps - I too, have noticed that Orks tend to hit the bottle fairly hard before the game, with often disastrous results - check the match reports for the Blackland Basherz...”
