Blitz kick-off meant Chaos Wharf actually took the ball, but the onslaught of the Horde was strong and they got the ball back, it was the Bulga Kvellig show.
Hobgobs tried their best to take him out but the fouls were pitifully weak; and painfully obvious (ref sent off 4 players from 6 fouls). Bulga survived all game and kept dominating the ball. 1-0
Chaos Dwarf team received but the attack was not watertight and Hashut Zhorr was dragged down losing the ball. A Hobgob then failed a scrambled attempt to pass to him in the endzone.
Second Half Both teams were a little bit short on numbers. Hashut Zhorr tried to break through the line but his Blitz was weak. Somehow the ball was lost, Bulga (him again!) ran off with it but tripped on his shoelaces and Hashut Zhorr scooped up the ball and threw downfield to Mercy Kilim, this time the passing play worked 1-1
Good game, Weresquid played really well and it was fun chatting (moaning about the ref!) in text.
I'm really not getting the win rate out of these Chorfs as I might in Black Box. Couple of players skilled and took Mighty Blow, so the volume of blocks the team produces should really start to bite. Next priority is to build up Guard skill.
Hashut Zhorr feels expensive at this low-TV and needs to get fully involved. Mercy Kilim just skilled up with Sure Hands, so can pick-up backfield; freeing the Bull to be an agile Blitzer. On Offence or Defence the bull has a good chance of seizing on loose ball. Skill choice will be interesting, doubles for Dodge I hope!
[EDITED] Have now correctly named the bull in match report, sorry Hashut = ) ”
