The Mountaineers were a bit rusty after a few years on the bench, but still managed a stiff defense to secure the tie.
1st half Zhar Naggarund had problems picking up the ball in the rain, but the Puerkos did not press too hard and eventually Speedy got the ball and went in for the TD. With time running out in the 1st half, Poli could not quite manage to score against Zhar Naggarund's defense.
2nd half, down 9 players to 11, the Mountaineers again put up a stiff defense that slowed the Dwarves down just enough to give little time again for them to score on defense.
2 apothecaries did NOT work. (-AV to -AV and -ST to Niggle).
But Nobbla actually worked as he drew attention on the 1st turn that eventually opened up the opposite side of the field for Trey to slip by for the TD.
