Into the Big Time strode the L.A.D.S., no more rookie teams. In fact the brutal mass block of the Norse, Demigods of War.
Tales of questionable local support meant not much of a travelling fan base for Lump an' da Snots, so it was slim picking on who to join them on the pitch. With only 3 lucky hopefully added to their numbers L.A.D.S. took only a slender 18-11 lead onto the field. Could they hold on against the brute force of the semi-clad Norse?(more info on the S.N.O.T. System available here)
At the coin toss, Demigods of War chose to receive the ball and L.A.D.S. were braced for the onslaught.
Kick Off
L.A.D.S. 18-11 Demigods of War
The first half began in a very scrappy manner, failed blocks and stumbled dodges everywhere. Quickly the Norse were in full control and bided their time before running in a opening score.
What they hadn't banked on though was a rapid reply. Bownz snaffled the kickoff and quickly hopped his way through enemy lines whilst his buddies formed a rear-guard shield. Although a Ulfwerener was able to get to Bownz, he slipped at a crucial second let the Fun Hoppa sprint (boing?) off for the equalizer.
At half time, nothing had changed from the points difference at the the start. Could L.A.D.S. really do it?

Half Time
L.A.D.S. 19-12 Demigods of War
Rumours of a Halftime arrangements with the Officials to keep the Orca-Cola Roller on the field were unfounded, but somehow L.A.D.S. took to the pitch in the second half with both Pump Wagons available.
The half opened with Bom finally collecting his first points for the team. A well placed bomb, smashing the hip of Norse Lineman, Sten.
Inevitable the Snotlings saw their numbers quickly reducing and an attempt by Wiz to repeat Bownz heroics of the first half sadly faltered. The Norse recovered the ball but it was short lived. The Orca-Cola Roller was able to pop the pigskin free and that Snot again, Bownz, was able to grab the fumble.
Sadly leaping away from trouble caused the ball to slip from his grasp and the Norse recovered. Dwindling numbers left the Snotlings chasing shadows and the Norse ran in their second touchdown.
But it didn't matter! Norse fouling boots had failed to make a dent and so the opening deficit was never closed. L.A.D.S. march on untouchable. 4 wins in 4 and the Savage Orcs next
