“Watching the replay, what should I have done differently?
First half
I put a lot players on the LOS in attack, could have been very bad to get PD or Blitz.
Turn 1 foul was very risky, if sent off it would have been very bad (no bribe or DP).
Put a lot of effort into knocking down the mummies and fouling the AV bust one, maybe better to try to tag them out instead, although one had BT.
Stalling in corner, left gap for AG4 to multi dodge along end zone and get 1D from empty corner square.
When double based in turn 8, could have used a simpler sequence of blocks to score. Instead saw a chance of surf, that required a ball carrier blitz, almost ended in disaster.
Second half
Defence went badly very early on, never recovered.
Mummies made a good push down the centre, Wights a ghoul and zombies pushed down 1 wing. 1 ghoul remained central, which I didn't notice till it was too late. I overcommitted to hitting and maybe fouling the central mummy, didn't work. Then further overcommitted to stopping the push down the wing. They simply switched and drove down the centre easily outmaneuvering us. Got a bit lucky to delay the score, but only through silly dice. As I'd just had 2 new early KOs, it was even sillier to have left such a huge gap in the centre. Lured in by hitting the mummies!
Try allowing them a bit of space to go down the wing, with the chance we can hem them in, staying strong/responsive in centre. Don't allow faster teams to switch sides and run past you.
Almost got lucky with a 2 turn score (after a Blitz), but it required double pows uphill on a mummy!
Other
Black Orc blodger (first game with dodge) died on first dodge, apo'd to killed.”
