Probably my biggest loss. I recall some 3-0 not sure about 4-0 before. Though I truth I gave up to some extent with the team outnumbered, simply tried for TTM but when they failed there was no effective Plan B.
The Albion players with Block gave a real edge, and the pixie were uber-snots: making swift moves and ball pickups under pressure.
I'll list some learning points for my next game:
Roster - Help page roster seems not ideal - take less positionals and buy plenty of snots so that swarming can take place.
Inducements - went for Bribes and Ripper. Perhaps Riotous Rookies next time as I was down numbers fast. Ripper was strong, but his three TTM attempts all failed so we never heard that majestic Wheee.. sound effect. I think I'd get him again and hope for better dice.
Fungus Flinger - The one bomb was intercepted and took out four players on my front line in T1; leading to the somewhat catastrophic early turnover score and subsequent bans. They have 'Stunty' so I'm guessing the throw was -1 modifier? anyhow I will just buy one next game, and field on defence to target cages.
Hopper
Not quite sure what to do with these. I ain't going to leap so just useful for tackle zones round ball. Positionals on pitch leaves less snots for titchy dodging fun and games.
Stilts
Seem the best ball carriers. I had trouble either with pickups or throws so did not really get to see their speed in motion.
3 RR
Will need these! Hard to resit trying them on Loner rolls.
Plenty to think on, rough old game, though nice to try the little guys.
