“Once again the Scourge of Settra has hit the pitch with the goal to maim and kill, and maybe figure out how to handle that oval brown thing along the way.

Everything went according to plan, the skeletons and especially the tomb guardians stuck to the plan of planting a fist on every head they could reach. That proved to be effective for a while, with the little buggers splattering on the pitch whenever their armor was too poor to stop the blows. Which was a lot. This resulted in a very chaotic game, and spirits were high amongst the dusty skeletons.

So the Scourge of Settra punched and punched and punched on the defense and held the line spectacularly. So well went the match, that the Thro-Ra decided to take on the opponent's mother troll, despite lacking severly in strength. But, oh wonder, the technique proved flawless and the troll hit the pitch hard enough to break its neck. The apothecary could do nothing but declare the time of death. The only reason the skeletons didn't break out into song right then and there, was the distinct lack of vocal chords.

On the offense however, the anointed Thro-Ra had his usual troubles. Having figured out how to spot where the kick-off will land, he eagerly tried to catch the ball and hold onto it. Which he managed, for a while. But those pesky stunties proved to fast for even the Blitz-Ra (who's extensive training in kicking halflings in the face really didn't pay off) and broke through the lines, tackled the Thro-Ra and made off with the ball. Despite great efforts to stop the stunties from scoring, a series of serious dodges and a pick-up sealed the game's score at 0-1.

After the match, the coach once again reiterated the importance of not only picking up the ball, but holding onto it as well. It still resulted in a lot of head scratches and shrugged undead shoulders. ”
