“A tough but hard fought match for Tur Tur - he started with 7, and at one point (after the pitch invasion) was down to four. Still, after my first game against WoodElfs, I can see why they are feared and respected, espeecially at higher ratings - if they can stay alive.

I was glad that the injury count was kept low, and I passed up all sorts of chances to do in his players late in the game with sideline pushes et al. Not a very Dark Elf attitude, I realise, but these things have a way of coming back at you, so I prefer to err on the side of chivalry.

Another strong game for Tsathoggua, who pegged two TDs for a second game. The real winners were the Line Korps, though, who managed to get 12 SPP between them, although Deep One picked up a Niggle, my third. Death of a Thousand Cuts, I guess.

Winnings were acceptable, though not as high as I would like. I have some steady sellers, like the Crawling Chaos soup and the Yog Sothoth kiddie bubble kit, but I need a real merchandise hit. When Nyarlathotep came back he brought one of his Witch Elves, Shub-Niggurath, with him. Now I will try to sell a Thousand Young Black Goat action figures, and see how that goes over.
FF went down again - this is not good for elf teams of any stripe.

Tur Tur was a fine opponent who was a really good sport about a fairly hopeless situation - especially in the second half, after the Pitch Invasion. I would play him again any day.
