“Pre-game
It is wonderful to see teams embracing the S.N.O.T. system. Seeing them as one with their fans, bring them onto the turf with them.

L.A.D.S. only wish it wasn't those villainous Butchers that did so. Across the field stood the one they call Yum Yum. Murderer of the legendary Zum.

This game was the big one and L.A.D.S. took the slenderest of leads onto the pitch.

Kick Off
L.A.D.S. 21-20 Stirpoint Butchers

The first half was brutal, superstar Ripper quickly fouled out into the KO box. Lump following shortly after never to return to the game.

Strength now on their side, the Ogres took down Lugz, and the ball, but in doing so tripped themselves up. Rej fumbled the recover into the crowd and the pigskin ended up deep in the Butchers' half safely away from any Snotty hands.

A final drive up the pitch from the Stirpoint crew was looking positive until "Three Fingers" Grikk inadvertently booted his own ball carrier deep into the terraces.

That was the end of the half and nothing had changed scorewise.

L.A.D.S. 21-20 Stirpoint Butchers

Perhaps it was the pressure of the occasion but the second half quickly descended into farce. The Taster unable to pick up the ball and L.A.D.S. innovative duel bombers hitting everything but an Ogre.

Gub took the opportunity to open the scoring on the field with a tasty foul on Qrak Longtooth. 22-20 to the L.A.D.S.

Inspired by that opening score, Chuk and Bom got their act together. Twice knocking the ball free from the Taster, with Chuk even taking the unorthodox opportunity to score by bombing Rej off the pitch.

It wasn't over yet, The Taster was able to bring the ball up into midfield. Poised to spring a break with 3 turns left. However she hadn't banked on the Bomb brothers. Bom cleared the shielding Gnoblar, Chuk sacked the Taster again, leaving room for the Orca-Cola Roller to mark up the downed ball.

It was at this moment Muspi took his life into his own hands, squirmed through the entire Butcher frontline, scooped up the ball from under "Three Fingers" Grikk's nose and legged it. Grikk had one go at bringing down the escaping ball carrier but there's was no way to get hold of old 'snakehips' Muspi. Skipping through more Gnoblar tackle zones, he ran the ball in for the only touchdown of the game.

As might be expected of the Butchers, their fans tried to clear a route for a thrown teammate to run in a late score. Sadly for those Stirpoint faithful, Garn Rashburn was only able to fumble her teammate to the ground. It was over. Yum Yum was still standing but L.A.D.S. were again victorious!
